Public Law

The Public Law department of Hoche Avocats advises clients in general public law and public business law, including public entities, public and private companies, investment funds and financial institutions.

It regularly advises on infrastructure and related services, particularly in the transport and mobility sectors (road, rail, air, new mobility), energy (renewable energy, nuclear, heating networks), telecoms and environmental services (water, waste).

The Public Law team assists its clients in the structuring, negotiation, drafting and execution of their public contracts (concessions, public procurement contracts, public domain occupation agreements, complex contractual arrangements).

The lawyers work on all issues relating to the granting of authorisations or to the regulations applicable to economic activities, in various contexts (development, mergers and acquisitions, financing). They work in particular on regulatory law, environmental law and state aid law.

The Public Law Department supports the Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions and Financing Departments, in particular during acquisition and restructuring operations, as well as project financing and refinancing. It can also provide support to the Employment department, such as in administrative litigation and the exercise of the right to strike.
