Hoche Avocats has advised Sagesse Retraite Sant\u00e9 (SRS), one of France\u2019s leading investors in the health and medico-social sectors, on its reinvestment in DomusVi.<\/p>\n

The Domus Vi Group, France’s third-largest provider of services to the elderly and specialised retirement homes, is structuring a new round of financing and signing a jumbo LBO by turning to its historical partners at the initiative of Yves Journel, the group’s founder.<\/p>\n

Yves Journel, founder of the group in 1983, is strengthening his presence in the capital via the company SRS (Sagesse Retraite Sant\u00e9). A dozen or so institutional co-investors also intervened (Macif, Bpifrance, Arkea Capital Partenaire, M\u00e9rieux Equity Partners, ICG).<\/p>\n

Present in six countries, France, Spain, Portugal, Chile, Uruguay and Colombia, Domus Vi has nearly 400 nursing homes, twenty senior residences, more than sixty home help agencies, eight psychiatric clinics and fifteen dedicated centres. Most of its establishments are located in France.<\/p>\n

This fundraising will give the group the means to invest several hundred million euros per year to develop its external growth and its international presence. It will also enable it to expand its service and recruitment offering.<\/p>\n
