Hoche Société d’Avocats will attend the 49th session of the Working Group V (Insolvency Law) of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) which will be at the United Nations Headquarters, New York, from 2-6 May 2016.

Catherine Ottaway, will be representing the insolvency laws Association INSOL Europe, as Council Member and Past President, together with its President, Alberto Nunez-Lagos (Spain).

The Working Group will continue its consideration of measures to facilitate the cross-border insolvency of multinational enterprise groups, as well as the obligations of directors of enterprise group companies in the period approaching insolvency. Under the terms of reference established by the Commission at its forty-seventh session (2014), the Working Group will also continue its deliberations on developing a model law or model legislative provisions on the recognition and enforcement of insolvency derived judgments.
